I'm now casting three movement artists as collaborators for the next phase of production, Meat Space Diaries #2 and #3. For these two overlapping works, the quartet of movers will each have a spool of wool which they will use to define their own movement corral for their solo practice. I'm looking forward to posting images of these unique spaces that will evoke a childlike sense of sacred space at the same time as providing the kind of limitations Pigs experience day in and day out inside the agro-industrial complex that now defines their lives start to finish. Stay tuned here also for the audio clips dancers will be using to guide their solo practices, and also perhaps their own reflections on the work and discoveries they are making.
