an open letter to my meat space

Dear Meat Space #1,
I'm writing you because it seems only fair. I am always writing about you, talking to you, but my efforts to hear from you have been arduous.
I would like to know if you feel liberated or confined by my apparent obsession with visiting you, standing around, investigating you, and keeping you encircled with ochre yarn.
thank you kindly,
F.O.O.L. (Fleshy Outsider Orbiting Lovingly)
P.S. Please write back soon.

Dear F.O.O.L.,
Well, if you want to know how I feel about being encircled--I was very embarrassed at first, and was closed up like a fist. Maybe it was the weather. but then later I gave up hoping no one would notice me. A person had noticed me and kept showing up and that had to be okay because there was no stopping it. This person would show up and stand around and look me right in the face and then rest, and then do some funny shapes and wiggles. Now I am more comfortable with this person, who is you I suppose?? And I have decided to flower, not for you, but for spring and for the timing of it all. I have decided to be muddy, not for you but because it rains and then the sun comes and I get a kind of crust beneath which I remain humid. If you want to know do I feel limited by your yarn circle, I do not. I wasn't going to go anywhere anyway. but FYI I am not defined by that yarn. You are.
Kindly,
what you call Meat Space #1
